Together they could take down a cap ship and they'd be incredibly difficult to defend against. I'm just imagining the combination of a Raven EMP fighter, an Eclipse stealth bomber, multiple Ghost stealth fighters, and a Prowler stealth boarding craft. I imagine that the only starfighter that could chase down and kill a Raven would be a Sabre.
Whereas the Raven is (presumably) stealthy enough to remain undetected, enabling it to sneak up on large ships and detonate its EMP in close proximity The target ship wouldn't know what hit it. Even if it was detected, the Raven is probably elusive enough that escort fighters would have difficulty tracking it - guided missiles would be useless.
So what's the point of its weapons superiority? Only for self-defense against enemy escort fighters. But a Warlock couldn't destroy or B&C a Starfarer on its own anyway. The Warlock is only useful for disabling large ships, like a Starfarer - it's a ship intended for the PU, not AC. It's easy to anticipate when a Warlock is going to detonate its EMP and virtually any starfighter can 'burn out of range in time. Its weapons are comparable to a Gladius, but it's more tanky. I think I'm going to CCU my Warlock into a Raven, because I don't need two EMP fighters, and I'd prefer the Raven's stealthiness over the Warlock's extra weapons.
